The Madonna of the carnation was painted by Leonardo Da Vinci in 1478. It’s been permanently displayed at the Alte Pinakothek gallery in Munich, Germany since 1889 after it was on private ownership. It’s a portrait of a young woman taking care of a baby, we think it’s very realistic and shows calm. The piece of art has many small details specially in the dress of the woman.
